Philosophy Reunion

Philosophy Reunion

February 25(St Anne's College)

A seminar and dinner for all those who studied, or are interested in, Philosophy at St Anne’s.

The  seminar will be on the subject of ‘Emotion, Imagination and Education’ by Professor Kathleen Lennon (Ferens Professor of Philosophy at the University of Hull). The panelists are Dr Dawn Phillips (Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Hull) and Dr Constantine Sandis (Reader in Philosophy at Oxford Brookes University).

We are delighted they will be returning to St Anne’s: Professor Lennon completed her DPhil at St Anne’s; Dr Phillips was a Research Fellow in Philosophy; and Dr Sandis read Philosophy and Theology.

Professor Roger Crisp (Literae Humaniores, 1979), Uehiro Fellow and Tutor in Philosophy at St Anne’s, will chair the lecture and discussion.

All those who read Philosophy as part of a joint honours degree or completed a graduate degree in philosophy at St Anne’s should now have received an invitation and booking form by post towards the beginning of January. This will be a chance for you to meet up again with the Philosophy tutors and to talk to our current group of undergraduate and graduate students.

The seminar itself will be free and there will be a charge of £30 for the reunion dinner to cover costs.
