
Author of New Finnish Grammar (2011) and The Last of the Vostyachs (2012), Diego Marani is a Policy Officer for the EU’s Directorate-General on Interpretation and the inventor of the mock language Europanto. He will discuss language, translation, and interpretation with Judith Landry, who has translated his novels for Dedalus Books, and is shortlisted for the 2012 Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize for her translation of New Finnish Grammar.
