The event starts at 2pm on Saturday 8th September at the SABC Boathouse, (on the Isis stretch - it's the first boathouse on Boathouse Island, accessible via Christchurch Meadows.) There will be a few informal outings and races from 2pm-5pm but the exact plan will depend on the number of rowers/coxes/non-rowers.
The evening's events start with cocktails in Angels (Little Claredon Street) at 6.15pm followed by dinner in in Pierre Victoire at 7pm. The meal is a set party menu.
Some accommodation may be available in St Anne's, or other colleges. Please visit www.oxfordrooms.co.uk to book.
OARS is the official St Anne’s Boat Club alumnae society. Members are entitled to attend all OARS events and receive the summer and winter newsletters produced by the current SABC committee members. The £20 annual fee assists the Boat Club with purchasing new equipment. It is also possible to make a direct donation to the Boat Club via the College website.
For more information about OARS, or if you would like to join, please contact Felicity Shelley on felicityshelley(at)googlemail.com. It will also be possible to join on the day. Please also visit the OARS Facebook page for more details on the Generation Races.
We hope many of you will be able to attend.
