1980s Campaign Raises £100k

The 1980s was an important decade of change at St Anne’s, and in 2015 we launched a campaign to improve engagement with this group in response to your comments that we needed to be more in touch.

Through this campaign we aimed to involve and engage more alumnae, to raise funds for a 1980s Endowed Bursary, and support St Anne’s in reaching potential current and future students.  The campaign highlighted St Anne’s key attributes as an open, down-to-earth and friendly College continuing to open up the University of Oxford to all those with the ability to study here regardless of background and financial means.

To date we have raised £99,220 hitting our £100K target – thank you.  We have increased event attendance from 24% to 35%, and reduced the number of lost alumnae by 4%.

You can still support the campaign by making a donation at https://www.campaign.ox.ac.uk/st-annes-college. We appreciate that not everyone will be able to support the College financially and you can also get involved by signing up to the Oxford Alumni Community - www.oxfordalumnicommunity.org. When registering you can indicate if you are willing to provide mentoring or careers advice to current students. As a member, you can search for other alumnae through the directory, post and search for jobs, and share professional insights.

Thank you to everyone who has been involved with our campaign, especially our 1980s champions, and for helping us to engage a decade.
