Dr Matthew Longo awarded 2016 Leo Strauss Award

St Anne's would like to offer our congratulations to Dr Matthew Longo, Clayman Junior Research Fellow in Politics and Political Ideas, for being awarded the 2016 Leo Strauss Award of the American Political Sciences Association. This prize is awarded for the best doctoral dissertation in the field of political philosophy. 

The Fund was developed by former students of Strauss' who sought to recognize his extraordinary influence on generations of students and his contributions to the field of political philosophy. He was a major figure in the department of political science at the University of Chicago, where he taught from 1949 to 1967. Further information is available at http://www.apsanet.org/awards.
