I am sad to tell you that Joanna Richardson (D.Litt.) died on Friday 7th March. Joanna read Modern Languages at St Anne's in 1943 and went on to a distinguished academic career. She was recognised by the University with the conferral of a D.Litt. in 2005. She will be well known to many St Anne's alumnae as a loyal senior member who ensured, despite declining health, that she attended every Gaudy. She was last at St Anne's for the Modern Languages reunion last term. 

The funeral service will be at Kensal Green Crematorium on Wednesday 19th March at 11.00am.
