
Our congratulations go to Patrick McGuinness, Professor of French and Comparative Literature, Sir Win and Lady Bischoff Fellow in French and Tutor in Modern Languages, whose debut novel The Last Hundred Days has been shortlisted for the 2012 Writers' Guild Awards.
The Last Hundred Days (Seren Books) is nominated in the category 'Best Fiction Book'. The winners will be announced on 14 November at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill.
The novel has received a number of accolades since publication, winning the Wales Book of the Year Prize 2012 and having been longlisted for the Man Booker Prize 2011.
