Will Crouch, a DPhil student at St Anne's, has been awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Civic Award for his work as founder of 80,000 Hours and co-founder of Giving What We Can.

Will is currently President of 80,000 Hours, which he founded in October 2011. 80, 000 Hours aims to encourage people to think about what it means to have an ethical career. He is also co-founder of Giving What We Can, a society dedicated to eliminating poverty in the developing world.
