St Anne's student shortlisted for The Guardian Student Media Awards

Our congratulations go to Helen Robb (PPE, 2010 and current JCR President) who has been shortlisted in the Best Columnist category for The Guardian Student Media Awards.

Last week a panel of judges, ranging from Guardian editor-in-chief Alan Rusbridger to campaigner Heather Brooke, came together to pick the best student journalism in the UK.

From 648 entries across nine categories, the panel selected the shortlist for the Guardian Student Media Awards 2011. Helen is among just five students nationwide to be on the Best Columnist shortlist. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 23 November.
