St Anne’s student signs book contract with Bloomsbury

Samantha Shannon-Jones (English, 2010) signed a book contract with Bloomsbury on Friday 20th April. David Godwin Associates attracted “a lot of attention” for a début series of fantasy novels by 20-year-old Samantha Shannon. The first book in the series of seven titles, which is out on UK submission, is called The Bone Season.
