I got my BA at McGill University in 2000, with Honours in Philosophy and a Minor Concentration in Linguistics. I came to Oxford to study Philosophy in 2001, where I was awarded the BPhil in 2003, and the DPhil in 2008. The lectureship I hold at St Anne’s is my first full-time academic post in Philosophy.
Undergraduate:
Metaphysics, Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Language, Logic, Aesthetics, Philosophy of Mathematics, History of Philosophy (early modern, and especially analytic).
Graduate:
Philosophy of Language, Metaphysics, Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind.
My research to date has focussed on the intersection between metaphysics and the philosophy of language, and in particular on truth, meaning and existence. I also have research interests in the philosophy of mind and epistemology.
