Academic Background

BA Emmanuel College, Cambridge (2010); MSt Exeter College, Oxford (2012); PhD Wolfson Foundation, London / University of Southampton (2013-2017). Robert has taught undergraduates at the University of London, the University of Southampton and, in a previous stint, at St Anne’s. In 2012 he won the University of Oxford’s Charles Oldham Shakespeare Prize. He has been a Tom Jarman Research Fellow at Gladstone's Library, a Wolfson Visiting Fellow at the New York Public Library, and a Jubilee Education Fund Visiting Scholar at the Royal Shakespeare Company archives, Stratford upon Avon. Over the course of his PhD, he was a Wolfson Scholar in the Humanities.
