Dorothy Bednarowska taught English at St Anne’s between 1946 and 1982.

The Mrs Bed Memorial Fund has been founded thanks to the proceeds from sales of the book 'Dorothy Bednarowska: a celebration'*, and from gifts to College from her former students.

To date, over £6,000 has been gifted and pledged to support bursaries for students studying English at St Anne's.
