Today’s legacy gifts are warmly welcomed by the College, but receipt is often tinged with sadness, particularly when we have had no chance to say thank you.

Those alumnae and friends who decide to make a provision in their will for St Anne’s deserve our acknowledgement and appreciation – just like anyone kind enough to support the College financially.

The College has founded The Plumer Society in order to recognise and thank those who remember St Anne’s in their Will. Members of the Society will:

  • be invited to special events;
  • receive updates on issues affecting the College;
  • be sent information on any legal changes affecting your Will.

Publications sent to members of The Plumer Society include:

St Anne’s will always respect the wishes of those who prefer their legacy gifts to remain confidential, but we would welcome the opportunity to express our very real gratitude in your lifetime.

The College would also welcome the chance to recognise members of The Plumer Society in our publications, such as The Ship.

There are many naming opportunities which allow our benefactors to be commemorated in perpetuity. Fellowships, buildings, houses, bursaries and rooms are just some of the areas which could carry a name designated by you.
