Annual Fund

From its first creation as a Society of Home Students in 1879, St Anne’s was founded to provide opportunity.

Today we welcome undergraduate and graduate students from across the UK, and abroad. One of the largest colleges in the University, we are known for our friendly, close-knit community. In recent years, the fabric of St Anne’s has been improved to meet the needs of our many students; all undergraduates can now be accommodated on site. Our vision for St Anne’s in the twenty-first century has culminated in the new Library and Academic Centre, which opened its doors in January 2017, providing flexible academic workspace at the heart of College.

How can you help?

It is thanks to the support of so many alumnae and friends that we have come so far. Our challenge now is to ensure that we can remain committed to providing opportunity and support to all students with the ability to study here, regardless of background and financial means.

Last year more than £580k was donated to support a variety of areas across College. Every gift matters, every year. By giving regularly to our Annual Fund you help provide the essential facilities and funds that enrich our students’ experience. Unrestricted gifts support a variety of important areas within College including bursaries, graduate scholarships, essential student welfare services, new books, and subsidies for our sports clubs and societies. It also helps us to reach out to schools across the country, raising awareness and aspirations.
