Renault Sport Racing paid internship over the Long Vacation
Renault Sport Racing is the motorsport, performance and special vehicles division of Renault.
Working within the vehicle performance group, the role will involve developing algorithms and writing code to solve interesting problems relating to vehicle performance. Previous examples include extracting quantitative data from on-board camera video footage, and algorithms to align temporal data in a spatial domain to enable more reliable comparison.
Year Group: All, except Visiting Students and depending on University workload over the summer
Subject Area: STEM
Personal Qualities: The ability to tackle technical problems independently
Experience Required: Programming experience, ideally Matlab or Python
Location: Whiteways Technical Centre, Enstone, Chipping Norton, OX7 4EE
Length of Internship: 12 weeks. 1st July - 4th October, with 2 weeks off (unpaid) between 10th and 25th August (F1 summer shutdown)
Remuneration: £15,000 per year pro-rata
Accommodation: St Anne' accommodation may be available on request, should the selected intern wish to pay for accommodation within College.
No travel expenses or travel insurance provided.
