Year In Japan

 

 

The Year in Japan scheme gives St Anne's Finalists, the chance to spend a fully-funded year studying and learning Japanese at the Japanese University of Economics, Fukuoka.

This year we are offering up to 5 scholarships for Japanese language tuition, and both accommodation and the return air-fare will be covered. There are also opportunities to teach English part-time in a local school, and travel across Japan and further afield.
Our next group of scholars, who will travel in September 2017, will be the 19th group.  To date, a total of 98 students have attended: 84 Undergraduates and 14 Graduates.

Students will receive Japanese language tuition, and both accommodation and the return air-fare will be covered. There are also opportunities to teach English part-time in a local school.
