St Anne's College Library is one of the largest college libraries in Oxford in terms of current stock, containing over 100,000 volumes.
With the original Library located in Hartland House and the New Library and Academic Centre opened in 2017, we have work places to suit all tastes. Around 2,000 new books are added each year. There are strong collections in all subjects offered at the College, and some special strengths, unusual in a College library, for instance in Linguistics, Chinese, Education and modern fiction.
Computing and IT
Students have access to college-wide wireless internet access, as well as computers, printers and scanners in the Library, Graduate Centre and group working spaces. Our fantastic IT staff are based in 37 Banbury, and are happy to help with any problems.
St Anne's Coffee Shop (STACS) is every day in term time and offers hot and cold drinks, pastries and light meals. STACS is a great place to meet friends or to work in a relaxed, informal setting.
Students have access to new gym facilities on the main College campus, including brand new equipment for cardiovascular training and weights. In addition, a rowing room - equipped with erg machines - is available. We also have University Parks and Port Meadow on our doorstep.
