Hi, my name is Merit and I read Experimental Psychology in my first year at St Anne's. Looking back on the past three terms I can't believe how much this year has changed me. All my fears about how I might not fit in or that I would be unable to keep up with the other students vanished during my first week. I found some incredible friends, I've signed up to far too many mailing lists from all sorts of societies and last but not least: I fell in love with my course.
It sounds cheesy, but it's the truth: Studying at Oxford is like a childhood dream come true. And not just because of Harry Potter. And College Balls. And Punting. There is so much more to it and I'm incredibly happy to be a part of this university and to study in such a unique academic environment. The friendly and open atmosphere in St Anne's allows every student to be themselves, and at the same time, it encourages you to try new things and to make the best out of your time at uni. The relaxed, nice people and the informal, friendly atmosphere allow you to really feel at home here.
