Working with Schools and Teachers

Our dedicated Outreach Officer, works to support students from Year 9 through to Year 13, and those who advise them. St Anne's has particular links with schools in Hillingdon, Southwark and the North East of England as part of the University's regionalisation scheme

Our work with schools and colleges is a vital part of our recruitment of the most able students. We are keen to support you and want to work to demystify the Oxford application as much as we can.

Support from St Anne's may take the form of a visit to your school or HE event to talk about university in general, the UCAS process, and of course St Anne's and Oxford.

We welcome visits to St Anne's from school groups and individuals throughout the year. We also offer a number of Open Days and Subject Masterclasses throughout the year, which give students a chance to see St Anne's and to meet our tutors and students.

St Anne's has a fantastic team of trained undergraduate Student Ambassadors, who come from all around the UK and abroad. They are available to visit your school in the University Vacations (Christmas, Easter and Summer) to talk about life at Oxford, and are also on-hand to help at all of our Open Days, events and at admissions interviews.

St Anne's contributes to the University's Pathways Programme, a scheme which works with state schools with a limited history of sending students to Oxford, and the University's flagship access programme for sixth-form students from state schools, the UNIQ summer schools. Academics from St Anne's also regularly attend the Oxford and Cambridge Student Conferences and Regional Teachers' Conferences.
