Evans-Pritchard Scholarship in African Studies

As part of the development of African and Interdisciplinary Studies at St Anne’s College, a new scholarship was launched in 2008 in conjunction with the School of Interdisciplinary Area Studies (African Studies). This is the second year of the Scholarship and it will  pay up to £5,000 to one suitably qualified student applying for the MSc in African Studies.

Applicants are advised to look at the relevant website for African Studies http://www.africanstudies.ox.ac.uk/. It is expected that the successful candidate will fully involve themselves in the activities of St Anne’s (www.st-annes.ox.ac.uk) and help promote postgraduate, interdisciplinary studies in African Studies.

Applicants wishing to be considered for this Scholarship should indicate this on your application. The Department and College will consider all suitable applicants.

St Anne's and the Law Faculty

As part of the development of postgraduate Law studies at St Anne’s College, directed by Professor Stefan Talmon, up to two Scholarships will be available (each equivalent to the College fee) to suitably qualified students applying for the BCL or MJur. 

It is expected that the successful candidates will fully involve themselves in the activities of St Anne’s and help promote postgraduate studies in Law and relevant interdisciplinary areas. Follow this link for full details of the Law School at St Anne’s.

Applicants wishing to be considered for this Scholarship should nominate St Anne’s as their first-choice College. Once you have received an offer from St Anne’s, and accept it, your application for the St Anne’s Scholarship will go forward for consideration.
