St Anne's prides itself on being a truly multi-cultural environment, with students and staff from an extremely broad range of backgrounds and nationalities. If you are considering study at Oxford, we encourage you to browse this website, where you will find information on Undergraduate and Graduate study, videos about life and study here, details of facilities, IT at St Anne's, our College Library, accommodation, and much more.
You may also find the information for International Students on the Oxford University website useful.
For me, what makes St Anne's is the people – they are nearly universally down-to-earth, friendly, informal and genuine. The diverse range of subjects they study, and the diverse range of backgrounds they come from, serves to make St Anne's one of the greatest truly cosmopolitan colleges within Oxford.

St Anne’s embodies everything that is diverse and exciting about Oxford. Its students come from an array of backgrounds, including many international and visiting students, who are drawn here by the college’s friendly and tolerant environment as well the excellent academic and personal support. St Anne’s students are involved in every aspect of Oxford life, both academic and recreational, making the college a place where people excel and live life to the full.

After experiencing St Anne’s as an American visiting student, I knew I had to come back to take advantage of the full undergraduate degree at this college. Oxford’s tutorial system and complete immersion and independent study style is challenging and fulfilling, but the particular benefit of reading English at St Anne’s is the calibre of the teaching. Feedback on essays is specific, critical and encouraging. Our tutors our so deeply knowledgeable I’m sometimes in awe.

I am sure that your experience will differ from mine. But allow me to assure you that my year abroad at Oxford was one of the most enlightening years of my life. Any new experience is what you make of it and things are never gifted on a platter, but St Anne’s helps you as much as it possibly can and provides you with the resources that you need to integrate fully into a different culture.
