You can find information on finance at St Anne’s, financial assistance and Student Finance in general online. We are aware of the worries surrounding the cost of university education, and do our best to reduce costs to students where possible. It is worth bearing in mind that the College Library at St Anne’s is one of the largest college libraries in Oxford, so many students find they have little need to purchase expensive textbooks. Furthermore, students who live in College accommodation (100% of our first years and some 95% of our undergraduates) pay rent only for the time they are in Oxford (there is no need to rent for the entire year). And since Oxford terms are only 8 weeks long, this keeps rent costs to a minimum. Another financial bonus about Oxford is that the city is small, meaning that transport costs are low – many students cycle, but others choose to walk. Nothing is very far away, and there are unlikely to be large bills for bus fares.
