We do our best to ensure that the transition from home and school to College and University is a smooth one. We have a complex welfare system in place, offering everything from peer supporters amongst the undergraduates to a College nurse and College counsellor. You can find more information on this here.

On the whole Oxford is a safe city, and with on-site accommodation and a Porters’ Lodge manned 24 hours a day, St Anne’s always feels a safe environment. We are also lucky to have bicycle racks inside the site, dramatically reducing the likelihood of bicycle theft (although we still recommend bringing two 'D' locks for use elsewhere in Oxford). In addition, we encourage all students to wear bicycle helmets and offer them for sale at a reduced price in College.
