St Anne’s has a strong and vibrant graduate community in law.
Every year some eight students are enrolled in the BCL/MJur and some four research students are in residence preparing their dissertation for the Doctor of Philosophy, the Master of Philosophy in Law or Criminology, and the Master of Studies in Legal Research. We also welcome several visiting students every year.
Travel grants have assisted our law graduates to do internships at the United Nations in New York and the World Health Organization in Geneva and to participate in international conferences. As part of the development of postgraduate Law studies at St Anne’s College, we also offer two scholarships to suitably qualified students applying for the BCL or MJur.
St Anne’s has probably one of the best college libraries for law (including all English law reports and the European Court Reports) with a special budget for law graduates.
Many of our foreign graduates work for one of the international law firms, tax and management consultancies in London before returning to their home countries to take up positions in government, law firms, consultancies or academia.
Please see the links below for details of the postgraduate courses available in Law and for information about how to apply.
St Anne's offers a number of scholarships, bursaries and awards for postgraduate students. Please see our pages on Financial Matters for details.
