St Anne’s is very keen for prospective undergraduate students to visit and learn more about us at close quarters.

Please read on to hear more about our University Open Day Events Programme for June 26th and 27th and September 20th

Choosing where you will be spending three or four years of your life is a big decision, and we at St Anne’s want to ensure that you make the best-informed choice about what you’ll study, where, how and with whom. Getting a feel for the social and academic environment is very important for your future. 

2013 Open Days (June and September)

St Anne’s Open Day Programme (26th and 27th June and 20th September 2013)

College Opening Times for each day: 9.30-5pm

NO BOOKING  is required for any part of the programme (except for accommodation in June - see below for booking details)

Programme:

Talks on Applying to Oxford and Life at St Anne’s (9.30, 2, 3, 4) - each talk will last for approx. 30 minutes

Meet the Tutors (12.15) - arrive at 12 to chat with tutors across the majority of subjects we offer at St Anne's

College Tour for Parents and Teachers (12.15)

Lunch (1.15-2) – first come, first served for fixed number (150 places in June; 100 places in September)

College Tours with current students (9.30-5) – a tour usually lasts for 20 minutes

Information Desk (9.30-5)

Tea and Coffee (9.30-5)

Chat to current students and admissions staff (9.30-5)

Limited free accommodation is available at St Anne's for night prior to the JUNE Open Day you are attending. There will be a limit of 6-8 per school or college (including teachers) and will only be offered for the night PRIOR to the Open Day you are attending and to those travelling MORE THAN 90 MILES ONE WAY. Accommodation can be booked for school groups or for those travelling without a teacher. No accommodation is available for parents.

Note that the accommodation is offered on a bed and breakfast basis (no dinner) and any booking that is amended or cancelled after June 17th will incur a charge.

If you are a teacher booking on behalf of your school group, please book HERE (note that you will need all of the names of your group)

If you are an individual or coming as a small group without a teacher, please book HERE (one form for each participant).

Bookings will generally be acknowledged within 14 days.

We regret that no accommodation is available for the September 20th Open Day.

Parking in central Oxford is also very limited and participants should look at using public transport, including the excellent Park and Ride system, where possible. Directions to St Anne's College are available here.

St Anne's Events at University Open Days

Remember that the University Open Days on June 26th, 27th and on September 20th include programmes across colleges, departments, museums and in a central information area (www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/opendays). Some events may require booking, so do your research carefully and do combine your visit to St Anne's with visiting other parts of the University on these days.

In addition you may find the short films available on our website helpful in getting a feel for life at St Anne's. You are also always welcome to visit the College and have a walk around – just let the Porter know that you are a prospective applicant. Click here for a 'DIY tour' of St Anne's. The University Open Days are held on the same dates at the other colleges and departments in Oxford, enabling prospective applicants to get the most from a visit. For more information on the University's open days, please see the University website.
