St Anne’s is proud of its attractiveness to, and support of, students from all backgrounds, committed as we are as a College to admitting the very best students with the academic potential to succeed.
We are keen to clarify how the ‘system’ now operates, and what it’s like to be a student here in the 21st century. In order to do this, each year we invite teachers to come to spend a day here. We offer presentations on the Oxford system as a whole, Student Finance, the Admissions process and more, with the opportunity for discussion both with our tutors and with colleagues from other schools and colleges around the country. Of course, you also get the opportunity to sample St Anne’s food, and meet some of our students.
Thank you very much for organising the Teachers’ Day yesterday at St Anne’s. The programme for the day was perfect. As a teacher it’s always reassuring to hear things confirmed that you know and particularly useful to hear things you don’t know. The whole day was most enjoyable, with plenty coming from it to discuss with colleagues back at school.”
I wanted to express my sincere thanks for yesterday – I found it very informative and the college staff and students all very friendly and welcoming.”
St Anne’s is a college that has not been selected by students in the past. I shall now encourage applications to St Anne’s. I was impressed by how open and friendly it is.”
