University of Oxford Alumni Weekend and St Anne’s Gaudy

St Anne’s Gaudy

We are delighted to invite you back to College to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Oxford University’s ‘Alumni Weekend’ with the St Anne’s annual Gaudy. Each item is bookable individually through Eventbrite, some things are free, others require a ticket. Please see a rough overview below:

Saturday 17th September

• 10.15am – Tea & Coffee with pastries
• 11am – The St Anne’s Society Annual General Meeting
• 12noon – The St Anne’s Society AGM Guest Speaker: St Anne’s alumna, Bronwyn Riani on her studies
• 12.30 – Lunch (£30 per person, includes 2 courses, wine & coffee) with address from St Anne’s student Lam Joar, member of the Refugee Olympic Team
• 2pm – “Bevington Rd Talk & Tour” from architects, Assemble Studios, & Edwin Drummond, Director of Development on the plans for the redevelopment
• 3pm – 4.30pm: Afternoon tea with the Principal, Helen King QPM
• 5pm – “Ukraine, Russia and The Future” by Professor Neil Macfarlane
• 6-.45pm – Drinks reception
• 7-9pm – Dinner (£40 per person, includes 3 courses, wine, port & coffee) with address from Principal, Helen King QPM

Sunday 18th September

• 12noon – 3pm: Friends & Family Day with a BBQ, Bouncy Castle, bubble machine, garden games and ‘Using fossils to make sense of the past, present and future’ with Matt Sutton, Paleobiologist! – £10 per adult/£5 per under 18 or student (this includes all food).

Each event is individually ticketed to allow guests to attend other events being held in Oxford this weekend.

A room in College has been reserved for you as a “free space” if you would like to sit, rest or just enjoy a quiet cup of tea indoors with friends.

Accommodation is available onsite; please book alongside your tickets. Please note that there is limited parking at St Anne’s, so we ask you to please use Park & Ride where you can. We will send further information nearer the time.

Bookings are now closed and joining instructions will be sent out this week.

Please do not worry about printing tickets, we will have a guest-list at the door. Please note that Oxford Train Station is closed – more information can be found here!
