The Principal and Fellows of St Anne’s College are delighted to welcome Sylvia Tamale as the guest speaker at the third annual Devaki Jain lecture on the 13th October 2022.
Sylvia is a renowned feminist, scholar, lawyer and sociologist. She recently retired as Professor of Law from Makerere University in Uganda. Her lecture is inspired by her latest publication, Decolonization and Afro-Feminism, which won the 2022 FTGS Book Prize.
