£38,567 per annum (may be negotiable depending on skills and experience)

We are one of the largest Colleges in the University of Oxford, with around 865 students.  With two large modern dining spaces and a variety of rooms and event spaces we cater for a wide range of internal and external events throughout the year.

The Dining Hall Manager will assist the Head Chef in managing the day-to-day operations of the Catering Department, ensuring that a high standard of food service is provided in an efficient, cost effective manner and delivered with a professional approach.

Responsibilities include; ensuring front of house preparation and service is maintained to a high standard, recruiting, supervision and training of all Dining Hall staff, ordering and stock control, and adhering to the relevant Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations.

You will have management experience in hospitality with a recognised qualification from the Hotel and Catering industry or equivalent alongside experience of delivering high quality dining events and excellent leadership and people management skills.
