Stipendiary Lecturer in Spanish

Salary:  £6,707.00 (Point 2, on the Recommended Scale for Stipendiary Lecturers 2016-17)

We invite applications for a fixed-term 3 contact hour College Stipendiary Lectureship in Spanish from 1st October 2017 until 30th September 2018.  No university post is associated with this Lectureship.
The candidate will be expected to work independently and in collaboration with other members of the Modern Languages School at St. Anne’s. During the academic year the successful applicant will also administer internal college exams (‘Collections’) at the start of each term.
Selection criteria:
• Commitment and ability to teach Spanish in tutorial and small class contexts.
• A high level of research achievement, commensurate with the candidate’s career stage.
• Ability and willingness to participate in a full range of pedagogic and organisational tasks in the Faculty and College
• Collegiality, good communication skills and sensitivity in dealing effectively with any pastoral matters that may arise.

Benefits include 2 free meals per week in Weeks 0-8 during Term (except at times when the kitchen is closed (Easter, Christmas, and for two weeks during August) and SCR membership.

Deputy Accommodation Manager

Full time, permanent, £25,454 per annum

The Accommodation Department is responsible for managing throughout the year all the College Accommodation which includes bedrooms located on College’s main-site and off-site properties.
Reporting to the Accommodation Manager and working closely with the Accommodation Administrator and Assistant, the Deputy Accommodation Manager will assist the Departmental Head in all aspects of the work of the Department.   Within term time this will include the control and allocation of student bedrooms, issuing tenancy agreements and liaising with students.  During vacation periods the post holder will manage all areas associated with accommodation required for Conferences and Events held in College.
The role requires a strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills.  Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.  You will have numeracy and spreadsheet skills, be confident in using and learning IT systems and be able to work to deadlines and manage your own workload.

Schools Liaison and Outreach Officer

Full time, permanent, £27,816 (with possible discretionary uplift)

Holding an outward-facing, pivotal role within the Academic Office, the Schools Liaison and Outreach Officer will work to ensure that St Anne’s admits students with the greatest academic ability and potential in their chosen subject, on merit alone, using fair procedures. We aim to make undergraduate admissions decisions that result in fair representation of talent from all backgrounds within the UK. 
The Schools Liaison and Outreach Officer works closely with schools in the United Kingdom, ensuring that the message to potential applicants is that St Anne’s is a place to which those who have the talent to thrive in Oxford should consider coming. 
S/he will also assist with the admissions process, responding to admissions enquires from individuals, parents and teachers and will support the College’s Visiting Student programme.
The post holder will have excellent communication skills, an exceptional level of organisational ability, efficient time management and be confident in making decisions.  They must be able to demonstrate their ability to work well in a team environment as well as being comfortable working independently.  He/she will be required to work collaboratively with other colleges and with departments of the University.
The role would ideally suit a highly motivated, experienced Outreach Officer with schools liaison experience who enjoys an organisational challenge within a busy environment. The post holder should be able to work autonomously and supportively, and must have a positive and flexible attitude.
