The Open Days are a great way to visit St Anne's and to find out more about our forward looking, diverse and down-to-earth community.
For each open day, we have a busy timetable of events, typically including a demonstration interview, tours led by current students throughout the day, and a chance for prospective students to meet the tutors while parents, carers, and teachers can attend a talk with our Principal or Senior Tutor.
We would like to thank everyone who visited St Anne's at our most recent Open Days in June and September – we hope you all had a wonderful day and we wish prospective applicants the best of luck in their studies and applications!
The University's next Open Days will be Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th June 2024.
For our open day guests, St Anne’s offers accommodation for prospective students and teachers who would otherwise be unable to attend, and some financial support for travel costs is available. Free accommodation and travel reimbursement are specifically open to UK state school students and teachers who live a distance of 70+ miles from Oxford. We prioritise state school students and teachers coming from our link region in the North East of England. St Anne's Accommodation Bookings will reopen soon for the June Open Days.
If you are a Year 13 student from the North East of England, as part of the Oxford For North East consortium of colleges, we host an NE Open Day Residential during the June Open Days, including travel, accommodation and food free of charge. To find out more, please email oxfordfornortheast@admin.ox.ac.uk.
Below is a typical timetable for the open days we run here at St Anne’s – this one was for our September open day, so the June open days will be slightly different in locations because around that time we usually have a marquee on our main quad in which we host most events.
We will release a full timetable for the day shortly, but the schedule below gives a good indication of the events and catering we have on offer.
College tours and Q&A with Student Ambassadors from a range of subject areas.
Admissions and Outreach staff will be available to answer your questions, including anything relating to accommodation, welfare and finance.
Our Life at St Anne’s Displays will be running all day, including information about Welfare, Disabilities, Welfare, Accommodation, Finance, Internships, Catering and more.
Tours will start from the Danson Room, and will take you around the college buildings and accommodation blocks.
Danson Room – All meals are first come, first served and may be limited by numbers on the day.
Dining Hall – All meals are first come, first served and may be limited by numbers on the day.

Even if you are applying for a different course, this can still be a useful indication of how Oxford interviews work, as well as a great chance to ask questions.
Free accommodation is specifically open to UK state school students who live a distance of 70+ miles from Oxford. And we prioritise state school students coming from our link region in the North East of England. St Anne’s Accommodation Bookings have now closed for the September Open Day.
