Hannah and Dom from the Outreach Team are delighted to share this year’s Impact and Evaluation Report, showcasing a programme of activity that has reached more than 9,000 students. Over the past twelve months, the team has expanded its work with schools and colleges in St Anne’s link regions of Hillingdon, Southwark, and the North East of England—building new relationships, launching fresh initiatives, and welcoming hundreds of students to Oxford for the first time.
A particular highlight has been the success of targeted work with students from disadvantaged backgrounds, a cornerstone of the University’s Access and Participation Plan. Many of the young people who engaged with the team this year had not previously considered Oxford, and our Outreach work has given them a first chance to picture themselves here.
From residentials and academic taster sessions to college tours and school visit days, St Anne’s has been a busy and inspiring place throughout the year. Looking ahead, the Outreach Team has ambitious plans to extend this impact even further in 2025–26, supporting more schools and opening the door to Oxford for even more students.
