Salary range from £42,000 – £47,500 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

St Anne’s is a friendly, down-to-earth and independent-minded college at the heart of the University of Oxford. It is modern in its outlook and architecture and open to the world, informal and yet academically demanding. One of the University’s largest colleges, with around 900 students, we are known for being ambitious, collaborative and outward facing. We aspire to understand the world and change it for the better.

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Communications Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is a key role within the Development Team, responsible for raising the profile of St Anne’s, strengthening engagement with our alumnae and wider community, and showcasing the achievements of our Fellows, students and alumnae.

You will lead and develop the College’s communications strategy and brand, overseeing a wide range of channels including digital communications, social media, the website, press and public relations, internal communications and printed publications. Working closely with colleagues across the College, the University and external partners, you will create engaging, consistent and impactful content for a range of audiences.

The successful candidate will have excellent writing, editing and communication skills, strong experience in digital and social media, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders. You will be creative, proactive and confident in identifying opportunities to tell compelling stories and raise the profile of the College.
