Be Well, Do Well: Waking Up To The Importance of Sleep
In this talk, Professor Kyle will outline the importance of sleep and circadian rhythms for health and wellbeing. He will consider 1) the role of sleep in supporting mental and cognitive health, 2) common causes of sleep disruption, and 3) what one can do to optimise sleep and circadian health.
Simon Kyle is Professor of Experimental and Clinical Sleep Research in the Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute, Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Oxford. He is Director of the Oxford Online Programme in Sleep Medicine and a Fellow of Somerville College, Oxford. His research group is funded by the Wellcome Trust, NIHR, and MRC.
