“Fourth Year Projects Spotlight” – Harry Graves, Kelvin Li, Yiming Yang and Meg Unsworth will present their final-year engineering research projects, providing insight into their project designs, key challenges, and breakthroughs. The session will be an opportunity to showcase the breadth of topics students can choose to work on during their fourth year; from sustainable energy to robotics and deep reinforcement learning.
“Reinforcement Learning at the Hyperscale” – Prof. Jakob Foerster will delve into the pioneering work of the Foerster Lab for AI Research (FLAIR), where he and his team are advancing reinforcement learning techniques to address the complexities of hyperscale environments.
