“Insights and Reflections: Hidden Pituitary Stories, Medical School Advice, and Outreach in Medicine”

– “Hidden stories from the pituitary”: Helen Christian shares insights into her research into lesser-known aspects of pituitary function, exploring its medical importance.

– “What I wish I’d known”: Phoebe Tupper reflects on starting medical school, offering guidance and insights for new students.

– “Widening participation in medicine”: Inaya Gharatya discusses efforts to make medicine more accessible, including outreach initiatives she has been involved in with Oxford MedSoc.

These talks cover both academic and personal perspectives to support students to get the most of the course, opportunities in research and outreach.

The talks will be followed by drinks and a free buffet dinner in Foyer B for those who sign up via the meals booking system by 11 am on 29 October (Tuesday of 3rd week). If you attend the dinner but did not attend the talks, you will be charged. If you sign up but are then no longer able to attend, please remember to cancel.
