Alumnae Events in Hong Kong this July

We’re delighted to let you know that our Principal, the Director of Development, and the Director of the Centre for Personalised Medicine, will be visiting Hong Kong from the evening of Wednesday 2nd July to the afternoon of Saturday 5th July 2025.

Thursday 3rd July – Drinks Reception with Principal Helen King QPM 6pm

Join Principal Helen King and senior Fellows for a drink and to ask questions about life at St Anne’s. We have reserved a table at ‘Stormies’, so please do come along and say hello!

Friday 4th July – Dr Stanley Ho Memorial Lecture: “The power and potential of genetics to improve healthcare” with Professor Sir Peter Donnelly4.30pm

We are delighted to be joined by Prof Sir Peter Donnelly, Professor of Statistical Science at the University of Oxford who will give the Dr Stanley Ho Memorial Lecture at the Cho Yiu Conference Hall, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

“Professor Donnelly has made extraordinary contributions in his field to improve health and healthcare. He has pioneered work in human disease research, transformed the understanding of meiotic recombination, and developed new statistical methods to the benefit of healthcare systems and their patients. In addition, he has been centrally involved in major advances in human genetics over the last 20 years, and in leadership of key projects”.

Saturday 5th July – Alumnae & Friends Brunch followed by Tour of Tai Kwun

– St Anne’s Alumnae & Friends Brunch will be held at ‘Cafe Claudel’ with senior Fellows from St Anne’s College. Please feel free to bring a guest and join us from 10am

– For those of you who are interested, we are delighted to be able to have a private, personalised tour of Tai Kwun with Dr Bernard Lee, Honorary Assistant Fellow at The University of Hong Kong at 12pm
