We are very proud to share the news that Professor David Pyle has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society.
The election is in recognition of his ‘contributions to the understanding of processes, timings and impacts of volcanic eruptions, for creative use of archival materials to understand past volcanic crises, and engagement with wider publics’.
On the award, David commented, “I am absolutely delighted to receive this recognition, which owes so much to the support of wonderful staff, students and colleagues at St Anne’s over many years!”
Many congratulations from all at St Anne’s!
