We’re proud and pleased to share the news that Simar Bajaj, who is currently pursuing an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at St Anne’s, has been named in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Science and Healthcare section.
Forbes 30 Under 30 is a set of lists published annually by Forbes magazine consisting of 30 notable people under 30 years old in various industries. Describing Simar’s remarkable career and impact, Forbes’ editor writes:
“Simar Bajaj is an award-winning health and science journalist and MSc candidate in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford. In addition to being the first author on work published in the journals like the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Nature and British Medical Journal, he has bylines in the Washington Post, The Guardian, Time Magazine, The Atlantic, among others, writing about stigmatized diseases, health policy and artificial intelligence. His journalism has helped influence the work of the U.S. Supreme Court, Dutch Government Advisory Group on Slavery, Aspen Institute and World Economic Forum. He has been named a 2025-2026 New York Times Well reporting fellow.”
