Women in Film: Changemakers of Film and Screen

On Monday 12th May the Cultural Programme will be hosting ‘Women in Film’ at the Sheldonian Theatre – an afternoon of talks and conversations from world-leading practitioners and industry professionals, including actors, film producers, casting directors, executives and researchers.

“Bridgerton” breakout Simone Ashley, Apple TV+’s “Surface” lead star Gugu Mbatha-Raw will be sharing their insights along with an inspiring line-up of industry leaders including French-British actor and producer Oriane Pick (The Date), twice Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning producer Finola Dwyer (Brooklyn, An Education), and renowned Casting Director Lucy Bevan (Barbie, The Batman). The panel discussion will be chaired by TV and Radio Broadcaster Neev Spencer.
