Chair, Canis Amabilis
Poppit has been a key member of the Classics School since the autumn of 2020. She spent her puppyhood reading Pindar and Lucretius on Prof. Matthew Leigh’s lap. She has no formal academic qualifications but her regular presence in tutorials means that she is one of the most learned terriers in Oxford.
She is always delighted to greet students and occasionally embraces invitations to come for a walk. If you are not keen on dogs, she will stay at home for the day. She is a regular contributor to St Anne’s JCR puppy petting. When Prof. Leigh is busy, she is often to be found at the Gardam Library issue desk.
