Remember: stay safe and help others stay safe

If you develop any of the following symptoms: 

  • High temperature
  • New and continuous cough
  • Loss or change to sense of smell and taste

You must:

If the PCR confirms that you have tested positive, you must then isolate for 10-days from the date that you booked your PCR test. Where practicable, you must not use communal facilities, such as kitchens. You must not leave your room for any reason (except urgent medical).

If you are informed you have been a close contact, you must isolate for 10 days unless:

  • You are fully vaccinated with a UK Government recognised vaccine (and at least 14 days have passed since you received the recommended doses of the vaccine).
  • You are below the age of 18 years and 6 months
  • You are part of a Covid trial – you may need to provide evidence of this.
  • You are medically exempt.

However, if you have been informed that you are a close contact, you will be asked to book and take a PCR test within 48 hrs.

Asymptomatic testing

The College strongly recommends that all students and staff take twice weekly Lateral Flow Device Tests. Tests are available from the Lodge.

Face Coverings

The College recommends that face coverings be worn inside buildings as you move through corridors and busy spaces. Face coverings should be worn when entering and queuing for food in hall and whilst using the library. Please also respect your tutor’s preference for wearing a face-covering during tutorials.

Social Distancing

Please be respectful of other people’s concerns and socially distance if asked to.
