St Anne’s Gaudy – Saturday 20th September
We are delighted to invite alumnae back to College to celebrate the St Anne’s annual Gaudy. Each item is bookable individually through Eventbrite, some things are free, others require a ticket. Each event is individually ticketed to allow guests to attend other events being held in Oxford this weekend. Please see an overview below:
Programme for the day:
10.30am: Tea, Coffee & Pastries
11am: The St Anne’s Society Annual General Meeting
12noon: The St Anne’s Society AGM talk
with alumna Laura Mackenzie and her colleague Simon Brake from ‘Convoy of Hope’
1pm – 2pm: Lunch Break
(A light lunch will be provided in Foyer B of the Ruth Deech Building)
2pm: Bevington Road update with Architect Holly Briggs
Holly from Assemble Studio who have been working with College on the project will be updating alumnae on the regeneration of Bevington Road with a ‘first look’ at the site

4pm: Tea with St Anne’s Principal, Helen King QPM
(This will be served in Foyer B/Bev Rd gardens, depending on weather)
5pm: Gaudy Lecture with Prof. Daniel Armanios: ‘The Power of Place and Placemaking”
In this talk, Prof Armanios will discuss thinking in the engineering and social sciences around the importance of place and how large-scale initiatives such as infrastructure and other major programmes harness (or not) the different forms of connectivity that can arise within such spatial proximity.
