Brunch with Principal Helen King QPM: Balancing rights: translating policing experience into the University and College context

The St Anne’s Society, South of England Branch are delighted to invite alumnae and guests to join them for brunch with our Principal, Helen King QPM. Her talk on ‘Balancing Rights’ will describe how she has contributed her skills and experience as a police chief officer to the running of an Oxford College, and to the wider challenges of seeking to protect freedom of speech and the safety and confidence of all university students and staff.

Before the talk, from 11am, we will enjoy a brunch of bacon butties (or a vegetarian option), pastries, fruit, juices, tea and coffee and a glass of Bucks Fizz. The talk will begin at 11.45 am and there will be ample time for questions and socialising afterwards.

The proceeds from the event, which costs £18 per person for brunch and the talk, will be donated to the Bevington Road appeal. The extensive modernisation programme is now in its second year, and progressing extremely well. For more information, please click here.
