Halloy, Dr François

Academic background

 François studied chemistry and biology at the National Graduate School of Chemistry of Montpellier (France) and holds a PhD from the ETH Zurich (Switzerland). He joined the Department of Paediatrics in Matthew Wood’s group as postdoctoral researcher in 2021.

Research interests

François’ research interests lie at the interface of chemistry and biology, with a focus on oligonucleotide therapeutics and human genetic disorders. He currently works on strategies to deliver therapeutic oligonucleotides into hard-to-target tissues, such as brain, spinal cord, and muscle.
