Minna completed her BA in English Literature at the University of York and her MA in Text and Performance at Birkbeck College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She recently completed her PhD at the University of Kent. Her thesis examined strategies for feminist theatre translation, which she explored by translating Minna Canth’s The Worker’s Wife (1885) from Finnish to English

Minna’s research interests are theatre translation; feminist and activist translation; women’s playwrighting; Finnish theatre; queer and feminist theatre; twentieth-century European theatre; contemporary British theatre and performance
