St. Anne’s College, as part of the University of Oxford, prides itself on preparing its students for real-life situations. An integral part of that preparation is opportunities like those offered by Lionheart Ventures. Lionheart Ventures is a program that develops entrepreneurial skills and an understanding of startups. Its mission is to introduce students to the business environment by combining the academic environment with the pragmatic world of entrepreneurship. The online casino industry has experienced exponential growth in recent years and has become one of the most lucrative sectors for investment startups. Many students have expressed interest in understanding the rapidly growing popularity of gaming platforms such as online casino without verification – a current trend that marks a significant shift in the online casino industry. This innovation not only meets the need for fast, seamless transactions, but also provides an additional level of privacy for users. Lionheart Ventures serves as a training ground for students looking to get involved or make a name for themselves in this booming industry.

The opportunity to intern at Lionheart Ventures was extremely formative and enjoyable. Lionheart is a tight-knit team of motivated individuals all working towards an incredibly important goal: making humanity more resilient and lowering existential risk. Throughout the internship, I was given the chance to sit in on pitches from start-ups, taking notes and asking my own questions, and to attend Lionheart’s weekly investment update meetings, which provided an excellent insight into how the company runs as a whole.”   Ed Lamb, BA Classics, Lionheart Ventures intern 2022.
