Click & Collect

You can use the Click & Collect service to request books ahead of time, or if you are having trouble finding the books or accessing the shelves. The librarians will fetch the books for you and leave them ready for you to issue. To make a Click & Collect request:

  1.  Sign in to SOLO with your Oxford Single Sign-On (e.g. sann1234)
  2.  Find the book(s) you want to read in St Anne’s College Library.
  3.  Expand the record and click on the green ‘Request Options’ button. Try to request one which says ‘Item in Place’. If it has an ‘In Use Until’ date, you can still request it, but will need to wait for someone else to return it first.
  4.  You will receive an automated email when one of the librarians has fetched it.
  5.  You can collect the book from a trolley in the foyer of the Tim Gardam Building or the shelf at the staff desk in Hartland House.

Books requested via Click & Collect are not issued to you automatically. You will need to check them out at the self-issue machine when you collect them.

Books on the open shelves in other libraries cannot be requested via Click & Collect. You need to visit the library and fetch it yourself, though you can use the ‘Request Options’ for books held in storage or offsite.
