St Anne’s Catering team partner with Creation Theatre for Alice-themed picnic venture

We’re very proud of all the work our amazing Catering team have been doing to keep College going — and also to engage with the local community in these unprecedented times. We’re delighted to have teamed up with Creation Theatre to produce an Alice in Wonderland-themed hamper, building on the success of our existing Picnic in the Park hampers for two.

“Alice: A Virtual Theme Park” is a Creation Theatre initiative available from Saturday 1 August. As Creation Theatre describe it:

“Escape from the real world this August and join us in a digital Wonderland for our new online show packed with A.I. characters, magic and mind-blowing virtual tricks that will leave even the tech-savviest of you flabbergasted! In an innovative new partnership with Big Telly from Northern Ireland and Charisma A.I., this mad, interactive adventure will redefine what digital theatre and a family night in can be.

We’ve joined forces with award winning playwright Charlotte Keatley who is best known for My Mother Said I Never Should, described as one of the most significant plays of the 20th century. Charisma A.I. have pushed, broken through and trampled all over our ideas of what could be possible with digital theatre. This really is theatre, adventure and technology without limits.

Gather your family, grab a picnic and go on a unique adventure into our digital Wonderland!”

You can find out more here and book your Alice hamper here — orders from Friday 31 July for Saturday 1 August.
